Why Organic Wines?

Well, why not? When everything from face products to food is going organic, you didn’t think wines would be left behind, did you? Organic wines may be the healthiest decision the wine industry has made in millennia. Why? Because we have enough problems with harmful substances getting into our system as it is. You don’t want to add artificial pesticides and chemicals to that list. And organic wines don’t.

Organic wines are wines made from organically grown grapes. These are grapes that have been grown without the use of synthetic chemicals, such as herbicides and pesticides. Farmers use varying methods to combat pests and weeds, but none of them involve chemicals in any way. Organic wine is produced when organic farming is combined with organic winemaking, and will leave you a pair of bonus points during your next dinner party.

They contain less alcohol than regular wines, have no extra additives or coloring agents, and (thank goodness) no genetically modified organisms. They produce higher concentrations of the vitamins, while excluding the traces of chemicals that most normal wines have. Oh, and they also have less sugar because no extra sugar is added during the winemaking process.

Organic wines are a healthier choice than regular wines, not just for your body but also for the environment. The absence of chemicals in the atmosphere does wonders in dropping the volume of greenhouse gas emissions as well.

Yes, we know, it sounds great and all, but where can I get the best organic wines and how much will they cost me?
