Best Organic White Wines

White wine is a clear or pale golden-colored wine usually produced from light-skinned grapes. Winemakers can also make it from dark-skinned grapes as long as their flesh is light-colored. White wine is fermented with minimal skin and stem contact, which results in its clear color.

There are different varieties of white wine, and although they have a lot of physical similarities, their taste, texture, and aromas tend to differ widely. These varieties include:

  • Chardonnay

  • Muscat

  • Chenin blanc

  • Sauvignon Blanc

  • Pinot Gris

  • Riesling

When produced organically, the sweet and fruity taste of white wine is even more pronounced. Here’s a list of the best organic white wines we discovered:

  1. Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs

  2. Hahn Winery Monterey Chardonnay

  3. A to Z Pinot Gris

  4. Frog’s Leap Sauvignon Blanc

  5. Pratsch Organic Gruner Veltliner

Now, as you might come across as sort of an organic wine expert amongst your friends, why not order your first (but definitely not last) organic wine? Cheers!

BLANC CHECK

Born and raised in the bountiful domain of Don Quixote, organic grapes gradually ripened in the Mediterranean Sun and delicately seasoned by Balearic Sea breezes, make this golden-hued Spaniard stand out in the crowd of Sauvignon sameness. Intensely expressive, intrinsically textured, impeccably true to character, this is Sauvignon Blanc at its refreshingly bright, beautifully crisp, best. Bank on it.
